"SENTENCES" is an immersive dance performance that explores the paradoxes of modern society. Unlike traditional performances, the audience doesn't simply watch from a stage; instead, they are immersed in the story, which unfolds across various rooms of a mansion in the heart of Prague.

The story is told through the perspective of a young woman as she navigates five pivotal stages of her life—stages that everyone can relate to. Each phase reshapes her personal, social, and political views, leading to both internal and external conflicts and their solutions.

Performance format to the Czech Republic and expand it across the EU

Founded in November 2022, IONS began as a dance studio offering a range of styles like hip-hop, barre, and experimental dance, alongside workshops in physiotherapy and stretching. Despite initial success, we quickly realized that we lacked the structure needed to grow sustainably. After taking a break to regroup, we redefined our vision in 2024.

Today, IONS is no longer a dance studio. We have transformed into an event agency, combining creativity with a tailored approach to make every event a unique experience. With a dedicated team and strong network of professionals, media partners, investors, and sponsors, we ensure each event meets your needs, budget, and exceeds expectations. Alongside organizing and managing all kinds of events, our artistic beginnings inspire us to create self-initiated projects and promote artistic events close to our hearts.

What is immersive theater?

Immersive theater is a type of performance where the audience doesn't sit in a traditional auditorium. Instead, they become part of the experience by moving through various rooms or spaces, fully engaging with the unfolding story. The play often takes place in multiple locations, allowing viewers to explore the narrative from different perspectives as they interact with the setting and characters. However, while the audience can closely observe the action, they are not allowed to touch the actors.

How long is the play?

Each performance lasts approximately 45 minutes. Due to limited space in some of the smaller rooms, the play is divided into five time slots, each accommodating 20-25 guests, with 20-minute intervals between slots. However, we invite all guests to arrive at the same time—by 17:00—and enjoy our lounge area, where you can relax with signature drinks, food, a live DJ, and entertainment while waiting for your time slot.

Will there be an afterparty?

Yes, we will be hosting an exclusive afterparty at a secret location to celebrate not only the premiere, but also the official launch of IONS as an agency. Join us for an evening of celebration with live DJs, dancers, and the chance to network with our partners and team.
